1. Gentle Soak
Soak your shaving brush in warm water for 5 minutes to allow the hairs to absorb the water. While your brush is soaking, have a warm shower, cleansing your beard thoroughly. after soaking, gently shake the brush to remove any excess water.
2. Lather Up
Apply a small amount of shaving cream to the tips of the brush and massage in a circular motion on your face to create a lather. Continue this process for 2-3 minutes until a cushion of lather has formed. Add a few extra drops of water to the brush to increase the lather if needed.
3. Go With The Flow
Shave with the direction of your hair growth, rinsing the blade in warm water every 4 or 5 strokes. Use short strokes without applying too much pressure. For an even closer shave, rinse the face with warm water, lather and shave for a second time.
Rinse the face with lukewarm water to remove any excess shaving cream. Gently pat your face dry with a clean towel.
Apply a small amount of moisturiser or balm to the shaved area to alleviate any dryness or irritation.
